MISSION & VISION

The mission of the Lincoln Theatre Association is to serve as the steward of the historic landmark theatre, as an incubator for talented, emerging artists in our community, as a presenter of the highest quality artists from around the world, and as a creative partner that is an economic catalyst for the revitalization of the King-Lincoln District and downtown Columbus.

 

ABOUT THE LINCOLN THEATRE ASSOCIATION

The Lincoln Theatre is a multi-use, state-of-the-art urban performing arts center with programs designed to engage, educate, and entertain the community. Owned by the Lincoln Theatre Association (LTA) and managed by CAPA, the legendary venue presents emerging and established musical artists, theatre, and films, while creating accessible, quality cultural opportunities for central Ohioans.

LTA was established to support the community through services and activities not offered by other organizations. Its goal is to provide the technical and artistic infrastructure that allows arts groups, especially emerging companies, to work, learn, grow, and become better established. A typical Lincoln season is an eclectic mix of presentations from CAPA,resident arts groups, rentals by individual artists and organizations, and beginning in 2012-13, presentations by LTA.
